Matt joined the Ipswich Junior Sailing (IJS) board in 2024, inspired by the profound impact the program had on his family. His son began his sailing journey in Optis, progressed to the race team, and eventually became an apprentice instructor, experiencing firsthand the values of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership that IJS instills.
